# Connect to ChatGPT

Connect PriceLabs MCP to ChatGPT. This guide walks you through getting a callback URL from ChatGPT, connecting the ChatGPT Integration in PriceLabs, configuring OAuth, and completing the authorization flow.

## Step 1 - Get your callback URL from ChatGPT

Before connecting in PriceLabs, you need the callback URL that ChatGPT will use for the OAuth flow.

### 1. Log into ChatGPT

Go to [chatgpt.com](https://chatgpt.com) and sign in to your account.

### 2. Add a new plugin

Navigate to the **Plugins** section, click the **+** icon, then select **Create custom MCP server**.

In the dialog that opens, click **Create MCP App**.

#### ⚠️ Can't see the + icon? Enable Developer Mode first

If the **+** icon is not visible on the Plugins page, you need to enable **Developer Mode** first:

1. In ChatGPT, go to **Settings → Security & Login**.
2. Scroll down to **Developer Mode**.
3. Toggle it **on**.
4. Return to the Plugins page — the **+** icon should now appear.

### 3. Enter plugin details

Fill in the following:

| Field          | Value                          |
| -------------- | ------------------------------ |
| **Name**       | `PriceLabs MCP`                |
| **Server URL** | `https://mcp.pricelabs.co/mcp` |

### 4. Get your callback URL

Click on **Advanced OAuth Settings**. ChatGPT will display a **Callback URL** specific to your account. Copy this URL — you will need it in the next step.

## Step 2 - Connect ChatGPT in PriceLabs

### 1. Open MCP settings

Sign in to PriceLabs and navigate to **Account Settings → AI Connector (MCP)**.

> **Account admin login required**
>
> The **Connect** button on the ChatGPT Integration card is only shown to the
> account admin. Team member logins do not see it, so sign in as the account
> admin to complete this step. See [Team members](#team-members) for how team
> members connect their own ChatGPT.

### 2. Open the ChatGPT Integration

On the **ChatGPT Integration** card, click **Connect**.

### 3. Enter the callback URL

In the dialog that opens, paste the callback URL you copied from ChatGPT, then click **Connect**.

### 4. Save your credentials

PriceLabs will display a **Client ID** and **Client Secret**. Copy both immediately.

> **Save your credentials now**
>
> The Client Secret is shown **only once** and cannot be retrieved again. Store
> both values securely before closing the dialog.

## Step 3 - Complete OAuth setup in ChatGPT

### 1. Enter credentials and create the plugin

Go back to the ChatGPT plugin configuration (Advanced OAuth Settings). Enter the **Client ID** and **Client Secret** you copied from PriceLabs, click **"I understand and want to continue"** to acknowledge the OAuth configuration, then click **Create** to finalize the plugin.

### 2. Authorize with PriceLabs

After the plugin is created, a popup will prompt you to connect. Click **Sign in with PriceLabs MCP**. ChatGPT will redirect you to PriceLabs to complete the authorization flow. Sign in with your PriceLabs credentials and grant authorization.

### 3. Start using PriceLabs in ChatGPT

Once authorized, PriceLabs MCP tools will be available in your ChatGPT conversations. Test the connection by asking:

## Team members

The ChatGPT Integration is created once per account by the account admin. Team members use the same credentials to connect their own ChatGPT accounts:

1. The account admin [enables MCP access](/mcp/enable-mcp-for-team-members) for the team member.
2. The account admin shares the **Client ID** and **Client Secret** from [Step 2](#step-2---connect-chatgpt-in-pricelabs) with the team member.
3. The team member follows [Step 1](#step-1---get-your-callback-url-from-chatgpt) in their own ChatGPT account, skips Step 2, and enters the shared credentials in [Step 3](#step-3---complete-oauth-setup-in-chatgpt). They sign in with their own PriceLabs login when authorizing.

A team member's connection follows the listing-level read and write access the account admin has set for them.

## Disconnect

To revoke your PriceLabs connection from ChatGPT, use the **Disconnect** button on the **ChatGPT Integration** card in **Account Settings → AI Connector (MCP)**. This revokes the OAuth token for your account only — you can reconnect later by repeating the steps above.
